HEI Schools collaborates with kindergarten and school operators who wish to implement holistic, Finland-inspired learning in their new or existing schools. Co-founded by the University of Helsinki, the offering of HEI Schools includes: 1) a HEI Schools-branded kindergarten and preschool concept that can be extended to K12, 2) a play-based curriculum for any kindergarten to use, and 3) teacher training courses. Over 2,000 teachers use our curriculum, there are 25 HEI Schools kindergartens in operation, and we have extensive experience in implementing Finnish education in over 50 countries.

Lahdelma & Mahlamäki architects (LMA) is an internationally acclaimed architecture office especially known for their museum projects and education buildings. Renowned for their deep understanding of the impact of history, location and the human touch, LMA architecture stretches far beyond materiality. The founders, Professor Ilmari Lahdelma and Professor Rainer Mahlamäki, have been working together since the 1980s and they have won over 100 prizes in architecture competitions, which makes LMA one of the most experienced and successful Finnish offices. Vegemi is a science-based education programme for children aged 3–11 that promotes wellbeing through healthy eating, nutrition awareness, microbiome health, and sustainability. At its core is “Vegemi,” a friendly stomach bacterium who gains strength from fruits and vegetables, engaging children in a playful, gamified journey.
